Holiday Hours: Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a social New Year!

The Signal staff will be working remotely from December 26 through December 31st.  Our phone systems and ticketing engine will still be monitored 24 x 7, however our response times could be slightly slower than normal due to the holiday schedule. If it is an emergency please include in the ticket system that it is urgent. Embeddable Tweets

I always thought that Facebook was a neighborhood, a blog (whatever engine you personally like) was an apartment and Twitter was the bar where outrageous things were said. As Twitter has gain popularity, it has gone through a few changes. Recently, Twitter just decided to create embeddable tweets. Groupon’s Effects on Small Business: Too Much of a Good Deal?

“Without doubt, it was my worst ever business decision. We had thousands of orders pouring in that really we hadn’t expected to have. A much larger company would have difficulty coping,” said Rachel Brown, owner of Need a Cake bakery. Groupon, Living Social and Seize the Deal can be great for consumers but like any business tool it has its consequences.  Brown posted a 75% discount on her bakery’s cupcakes and over 8,500 people snatched the deal.
